Thematically inspired by the "Cthulhu mythos" novels and short stories of New England horror and fantasy writer HP Lovecraft, "The Tower of Koth" represents the nexus point of ingress/egress to the outer gods dwelling in the furthest reaches beyond the "wall of sleep". Some have found an allegory in the shushumna of eastern tantra, the middle pillar of kabbalah or the world tree of diverse pagan cults, it could even be said to show itself in the peristyle of Haitian vudou which is indeed the "gateway" by which the spirits descend and ascend. Flanking the tower are two guardians, spawn of mighty Cthulhu whose sleep eternal may yet come to an end with the turning of strange aeons...
