Seth was the third son of the biblical Adam and Eve (excepting the myth of Cain’s procreation via Lilith which would make him the second). It was through him that the lineage originally meant to be carried out by Abel was continued. It is said that Seth preserved the most ancient wisdom in the construction of two great pillars. This was the science of matter and spirit, the Royal Art of transmutation that not only can elevate man toward the totality of his ultimate being but also may one day serve to establish the Kingdom of Heaven upon the Earth.
