The title for this piece comes from my interest in the various myths, and divergent origins of the image of Baphomet. To some, the goat-head god of the sabbat, to others, the total being, divine androgyne, others yet, the head of John the Baptist, or the head of Janus, like Titian's "an allegory of prudence", looking simultaneously into the past, present and future. I have always held a fascination for the various myths that speak of a talking, disembodied head, so the other part of the title for this piece tips its hat to a song by the mighty psych-rock band, Hawkwind and their song entitled, "Bring me the head of Uri Gagarin."
